FUNCTION IN TE( N ) CUIDADO

The right to freedom of assembly and protest was used to be able to safely invite and gather dissident, racialized and allied bodies in a collective artistic action in public space, in the context of the state of alarm (one of the three legal categories for emergency situations as stated in caused by the COVID-19 pandemic during 2020. By implementing this right, many were able to participate in the action, at a time when restrictions and social distancing did not allow to do so. It also allowed to open and re-occupy community spaces for coexistence.
